Rubber Band Trajectory Project

By Jackeline, Johanna, and Rhajaa

This assignment required hard work and cooperation. A lot of time and work was needed to completing this in-class assignment. One in which we thoroughly completed an in-class science project by going through each step to both prepare and test our experiment question. After using a document to clearly format and organize our information and data, we then created a report composed of this WIKI you are examining and the proceeding movie:

As you have seen, our project was based off this experiment question, "How does the trajectory angle affect the distance a rubber band will travel?" in which we built our own rubber band trajectory/ shooter to decide at which angle (15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 75°) the rubber band would travel furthest. To discover the average the rubber band would travel at each different angle,  we experimented 10 different trials. This project allowed us to learn why and how, the rubber band travels the furthest at 45° angle, as opposed to the others.
